The March edition has made its grand debut, and with it comes some of the most popular pages of SRQ | The Magazine, the annual Home of the Year competition! As part of the celebration for this yearly competition, it is our pleasure to host the finalists and contributors at SRQ Studios for an awards ceremony where we distribute the very first copies of the March edition to reach the public.

This year, we were stunned to receive nearly 40 entries in the categories of landscape/pool, sustainable home, bathroom, kitchen, great room, overall home under $1 million, overall home between $1-2 million, best overall home over $2 million. Each entry requires a concept statement that describes the project and often includes challenges that were presented and overcome along the way. Others indicate the inspiration, homeowner preferences and materials used to bring the project to life. Each project is gorgeously showcased through photography that highlights its incredible features and draws our readers in.

The SRQ Home of the Year panel of judges review the submissions and score each project on the design concept, the function and usage, integrity of design and construction, creativity and overall ranking. This year, we are pleased to feature the platinum, gold and silver submissions in the March edition of SRQ.
