How can we possibly contain our excitement?! The September edition of SRQ | The Magazine is HERE! When our preview copies arrived, we all stood around the box and silently smiled while flipping through the pages. After a round of high-fives, each of us sunk into our office chairs to pick out our favorite part – which is basically impossible, thanks to a feature story called “50 Things We Love About Sarasota and Bradenton.” That’s right. F.I.F.T.Y. Even the beloved (or bemoaned?) lizards are revered for their daring, sidewalk-darting ways along the streets of our towns.
In all honestly, we could have stopped there. Fifty things is impressive. It is enough to celebrate. But we didn’t.
In September, we want you to meet Nosh, the newest content channel dedicated to food and the people serving up delicious plates along the Gulf Coast. We talked to a Ringling College of Art and Design graduate that is making a name for himself on the small screen as a color expert, sipped a few local brews that are coming into sharper focus by natives and tourists alike and a special digest called Vertical Living. In it, you’ll find all of the must-know details about the condos being built around town. We spent more than a few minutes being mesmerized at how beautiful they are.
We loved learning more about members of our community that are doing BIG things, like Teri Hansen who is the first CEO of the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation, and Jeffrey Mayers, General Manager of Longboat Key Club and Resort. And we think you will, too.
Of course, this edition is full of delicious food, gorgeous finds around town and the very best ways to live local in Sarasota, Bradenton and beyond.
Enjoy your September!
