On Thursday, July 30th, SRQ Media hosted a group of Sarasota’s influencers in the fields of art, design, architecture, environmental sciences, marketing, luxury watercraft design and cultural organizations at AIA 10×10.

Beginning at 5:30PM, the event kicked off with a reception featuring artfully crafted sushi from Jpan and libations as guests mixed and mingled in the studio. The presentation portion began with slides and a brief talk from each presenter: Dwight Currie, Performance Curator at The Ringling; Sheryl Haler, sculptor; David Jennings, Associate Broker, Coldwell Banker and the past president of the Alliance for Historic Preservation; Daniel Jittu,  Sarasota Lawn Bowling Club; Dustin Juengel, Art Center Sarasota/  Peter Lizon, Architect; Jono Miller, environmental thinker and professor at New College of Florida; Rich Odato, President of Odato Marketing; Jennifer Rominiecki, President and CEO of Marie Selby Botanical Garden; and Michael Peters, Yacht Designer.

Each presentation featured custom curated slides by each presenter on their impactful work or powerful lifelong inspiration – from iconic imagery of Elvis Presley to the expansive views of Sarasota Bay from the Marie Selby Botanical Garden.
