It is no secret that the SRQ team loves to have company over. If you’ve ever set foot in our studios, you know why. With a huge open kitchen, a living wall and a gallery of windows overlooking downtown…our office is the perfect place to throw a party. This year, we’re making a commitment to do just that – celebrate! Through quarterly client gatherings at SRQ Studios, we’re relishing the opportunity to get to know our great partners over delicious food and drinks and of course, a full helping of old-fashioned conversation and laughter.

Last week, SRQ hosted Pigs on Pineapple, an homage to barbecue and the coming summer season! Catered by longtime SRQ friend, Alday’s Bar-b-que, guests enjoyed a hearty spread of their signature pulled pork with a variety of sauces, a smattering of sides and fixings. A selection of JDub’s Brewing Company beers – including the Chillin’ Gorilla Sarsaparilla, Honey Habanero Alt and the perfect salute to summer, the Hansel’s One Eye Wheat Ale (brewed with whole oranges, grapefruits, limes and lemons to create a melody of citrus). To round out the night’s flavors, Sift Bakehouse joined the fun and provided a delicious sampling of cakes from their new shop on McAnsh Square.

Special thanks to all of our friends that made it out last week to celebrate summer with us. Stay tuned for our next client get together, scheduled for August.
